As one of the most notable golf course architects in the U.S., Tom Weiskopf brings more than 20 years of golf architecture experience to Adam's Mountain Country Club. Born in Massillon, Ohio, and an alumnus of Ohio State University, Weiskopf turned professional in 1964. The years following brought him 15 U.S. tour tournament wins, five foreign titles, and five Senior Tour victories including The Chrysler Cup, The Franklin Quest Championship, USGA Senior Open, SBC Dominion Seniors Championship and The Pittsburgh Senior Classic in 1996. After being named Golf Magazine's 1973 "Player of the Year", he became a golf analyst for CBS Sports in 1983 and pursued a consulting career in golf course design a year later. In 1994, Weiskopf started his own golf course design firm. More than 15 Weiskopf designs have been ranked among the top courses worldwide. Weiskopf currently resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and is an integral part of Adam's Rib Ranch, home of Adam's Mountain Country Club. |
